Entertainment

One of my favorite forms of entertainment is reading the Statemen's Police Blog each week Some are laughable. Our police friend tells us that much more happens on campus than gets reported. So I think the paper pick and choose the most entertaining ones.

• USU Police responded to a fire alarm in the San Juan Hall building. The alarm was activated by a resident who was blow drying her hair too close to the smoke detector. The alarm was silenced and reset without any further problems.

• USU Police received a delayed medical report. It was reported that a parking gate hit a female in the head as she was walking in the area where the gate comes down after a vehicle went through. The female received medical attention, which included glue stitches to the forehead.

• USU Police responded to Wasatch Hall for a
Fire Alarm. A student did not remove a pizza
from the box before he cooked it. The Officer
educated the student on the proper way to
cook a pizza and how to deal with smoke in
the kitchen. The alarm was reset.

• USU Police responded to a noise problem. Contact was made with the renter who stated that he was putting together a dresser and was using a hammer.

From an article: Missing pottery raises suspicion in art dept.

Maybe we should report our missing wires and signs. Ha
