Consumer Report : shovels

I was shoveling out the other day when our neighbor came and helped clear the driveway with his four wheeler.



He poked fun at my red plastic shovel. "That's not even a shovel; that's half a shovel."



"I beg your pardon. This light weight plastic shovel and I have scooped tons of snow. This isn't half a shovel, it's 95 % a shovel. The edges are a little jagged."

Just look at the jagged edges.

I like plastic scoops because they are light weight. I would rather scoop twice than over strain with a metal shovel. I notice there's a crack so I might need to replace it.

Notice I'm smiling when there isn't really any snow to shovel. We're between storms.
