Last week was a brake screecher, no not really, Lauri and I passed the same field and barn every time we commute, but this time it had bales of hay lined up in rows leading or pointing towards the barn. I didn't have my camera nor the time so I made a mental note, to return, which I did.
Which do you like the best, shooting down the middle, barn on left or right.
This first example shoots straight down the middle

same pic cropped taking out foreground, fence

Barn on the right

with or without sprinkler wheel

Notice when I put the barn on the left With mountain on the right, the patterns in the bales of hay disappear, not as strong.

Noel likes this pic the best but the hay pattern is lost, which is why i stopped. I like how the pine trees on the left in above pictures balance out the barn to the far right.

Ok, one more example. I posted this pic on facbook the other night which shows three sun rays poking through the clouds
But if I broke it down into what I shot which do you like the best?left sunray,

right sun rays

OK, now you see how I drive myself crazy, when I shoot a zillion pictures then try and decide which is best. Isn't this more fun that talking about recipes? Thank you for listening and tell which you like best and why
I should change my bumper sticker from "I Brake for Wal-mart to I brake for Beauty"
My 2 cents.. my favorite canal shot was "on the left" (1st). My favorite barn shot was "barn on the right" (3rd).
ReplyDeleteBummper sticker, "I brake for Kodak Moments". :)
